Michael E. Morrissey is a founding partner of the firm Kesner, Godes & Morrissey, LLC, and oversees the general operations of the firm.

He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Massachusetts Society of CPAs.

Michael specializes in providing tax consulting and business planning services to various entities, high net worth individuals and business owners. He also provides business consulting services and litigation support.

He has over 20 years of experience as a public accounting firm shareholder, partner or member. He has extensive experience in dealing with business matters ranging from tax savings strategies, estate and gift tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, business valuations and federal and state audit representation. This experience makes him a valuable resource for all of the firm’s clients. Additionally, Michael has testified as an expert witness, authored articles and lectured on tax planning strategies for investors, entrepreneurs and business owners.

Michael is an active member of his community. He has coached his daughters in lacrosse and basketball and has had the pleasure and privilege to teach a special needs children learn to skate program with his four daughters who are all competitive figure skaters. He has also volunteered for various board positions to help promote local youth sports organizations and awareness for children with hearing loss.
